Austin Hydromulch

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

If your looking to save money on your sod installment this is the way.  Your cost benefit really comes into play if you have over 3,000 sq. ft or more.  This time of year in the Austin area we are spraying a winter blend Bermuda with annual Rye.  The cost depends on the total sq. footage to be sprayed.  The more you have the cheaper.  Hydromulch is a good fit for both commercial and residential.

When you call all we will need is the estimate on the square footage, what type of seed (if you know), water availability and location.   We can give a hydromulch price over the phone with this information.  We do have a guarantee on our hydromulch and we will explain what that covers if your interested.  We do hydromulch projects all over the hill country both small and large.

If you need dirt work, irrigation or anything else along with the hydromulch please feel free to give us a call.

Austin Masonry and Outdoor Kitchens

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

If you truly want to add value to your property this is the best way.  We have seen a large increase with outdoor living areas in Austin over the last few years as more and more people choose to spend more time in their outdoor environments.  With the economy the way it is this is the perfect project for somebody who wishes to stay home more and invest into something that is going to hold value better.

Barbecue grills and fireplaces are the two most popular setups along with patios and bench seating.  There are a lot of different types and colors of stone that we use.  We match up the construction with the house masonry the best we can and go from there.

We give free consultations on all masonry work in the Austin area and look forward to visiting with you.  Another good thing about masonry work, it can be installed year round.

Austin Landscaping Spring Preparations

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

Even though landscaping is not the first thing on many of our minds, now is the best time to start planning.  Many times a landscaping design is needed to pull together landscape projects and this can take anywhere from one to four weeks depending on size and difficulty.  Preparing early can alleviate stress and allow for time to make changes.  A good landscape design will require that we meet at least two times.  The initial consultation will be to go over ideas, likes and dislikes.  Second meeting will be for changes if needed and possibly finish out.

All of our design will be to scale and take into consideration all the variables for your property.   The Austin area is uniquely challenging.  We have deer, rock, drought issues and so on.  Anderson Landscapes has been in business for over a decade and there isn’t anything we haven’t seen.  Working with nature and not against it is the best approach.

There are no initial consultations fees this time of year.  Now is typically a slower time for most landscapers and the time is used to prep for the spring rush.

We do both residential and commercial landscaping in the Austin area.  We serve clients from Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park down to  Westlake, Lakeway, Kyle and Buda.
