Natural flagstone typically in lighter colors is a favorite around pool decking. It is non-slip and the lighter colors don’t absorb too much heat - making it attractive and very practical. Flagstone is a natural and distinguished alternative to typical pool decking materials. Select flagstone is the most common around pool decking due the the decrease in grout joints creating a smoother walking surface. Pourous stone typically isn’t favored in these environments and a good sealant is suggested.
